Most of the links on this page lead to open online resources listed by the respective music librarians. Some behind-the-paywall material listed by these and other libraries might be available through faculty and student’s educational institutions or through inter-library loan or other library consortia. Online collections of manuscripts housed at certain libraries (such as at Julliard libraries) are listed on the sheet music and manuscripts section under archives.

Tulane University Library Latin American

The Tulane University Latin American Studies Primary Sources guide provides resources for researching Latin American history, culture, and society. It includes access to primary source materials such as historical documents, photographs, newspapers, and digital archives

Please contribute entries, especially of unrepresented or underrepresented music archives of states and regions, and countries outside of the U.S. using the submission form
